Mealy bugs prevention
First method
1. Add boiled rice in water and leave for 10 days…rinse off the rice…then you spray it first to all bugs…
2. Then neem oil 5% you spray it will all be killed.
3. Use epsom salt and neem every 15 days to prevent mealy bugs
Second method
Before cooking the rice when you wash the rice , take out that water .. bottle it for 2 week ( close the cover loosely so that gas can go) .. This solution should be added 100ml to 1 ltr water and can start using it (smell little bad) but it works ..
For fungal infection.
For fungi infection mix five days old curd 1 cup to 10 cups water and spray in the evening every ten days till infection goes away. Curd should be homemade from cow milk.
For prevention repeat once every fifteen days.
When infection is there once a week till infection goes away.
For flower and fruit drop
Mix 1 part five days sour curd and 1 part coconut milk.
Place in a glass, plastic or earthen vessel for four days.
Strain and dilute 1:10 in water and spray on plants during budding time. Repeat very ten days.
Can b used on plants and fruiting trees like Mango.
Home made pesticide for all pests
Home made pesticide, very effective for all pests. Please use gloves and mask while preparing and spraying.
- 200g chilies
- 100g ginger
- 100g garlic.- No need to remove skin for ginger and garlic or stem for chilies
– Clean well with water.
– Grind well in mixie.
– Add this to one liter water,stir and leave overnight.
– Morning strain with fine cloth.
– Residue can b composted or buried in soil.
– Store solution in glass bottle in fridge.
Usage.
In one lit water add 15ml solution and spray.
For more adherence add some Neem oil and liquid soap – optional.
You can keep the solution in fridge for two weeks.
Prepare new solution where needed after that.
Time to use
Evening just before sunset. Should not apply in hot sun, otherwise leaves will b burnt.
