Bali Nusa Penida island , Kintamani , Ubud tour – Day 2 & 3

Bali Trip Day 1
Day two of our Bali adventure
brought us to the stunning Nusa Penida island, and let me tell you, it was a day to remember! With our tickets pre-booked through Bali Dolphin for a speed boat ride to the island and a jam-packed itinerary of four must-visit spots, we were in for a treat.

After a breezy hour-long boat ride, we found ourselves on the shores of Nusa Penida, where a friendly car driver was waiting to whisk us away to our first destination: Angel Billabong. Perched on a cliff, this spot offered jaw-dropping views of the bluish-green sea below. Trust me, it was worth every minute of the air-conditioned car ride.

Next up? Broken Beach, a natural wonder that left us speechless. Picture this: a circular rock formation with the ocean gently flowing through a small gap. It was like something out of a dream!

But the adventure didn’t stop there. We were then treated to the breathtaking beauty of Kling Kling Beach, a sight to behold indeed.

With our stomachs rumbling, we made our way to a local restaurant for a lunch featuring a limited but delicious menu. Energized and ready for more, we headed to Crystal Beach, where the azure waters beckoned us for a dip. Snorkeling, swimming with Manta rays – the options were endless! we didn’t try these options here as time didn’t permit us to do so.

As the clock struck 4 pm, we reluctantly bid farewell to Nusa Penida, making sure to capture every moment for our Instagram feed. This trip was a photographer’s dream come true!

While we opted for a land tour of Nusa Penida, you can also choose a water tour, complete with a private boat ride to all the must-see spots, including snorkeling for those seeking underwater wonders and swimming with Manta rays.

With our hearts full of memories and our cameras full of stunning snapshots, we headed back to our hotel.

Day 3 of our Bali trip 2024

Day three dawned bright and early, and we were all set for a whirlwind adventure through Kintamani and the quaint village of Ubud. But first, we had a thrilling pit stop planned – the famous Bali Swing at Aloha Swing! These swings offer more than just a heart-pounding rush; they boast mesmerizing views of rice terraces that’ll leave you breathless. And of course, no trip to Bali is complete without capturing the perfect swing shot for the ‘gram!

Our first stop of the day? Tegenungan Waterfall, a hidden gem gaining popularity, especially thanks to the vibrant atmosphere of OMMA Day Club nearby. While we didn’t have time to indulge in the club scene, it’s definitely worth considering for a half-day of fun and waterfall bliss.

With adrenaline pumping from our swing adventure, we embarked on a scenic drive to Kintamani Volcano. Our driver did a tour through lush green villages with full of vegetable gardens , landed us to breathtaking views of the active volcano, last spotted rumbling in 2020. Talk about being on the edge of excitement!

But the excitement didn’t end there. Our next destination? A coffee plantation, where we got up close and personal with Civet cats and learned about the fascinating (albeit unusual) process of making coffee from their droppings. A unique experience indeed!

With our curiosity piqued and our senses alive, we made a quick detour to Ubud village, soaking in its cultural charm before heading to the iconic Tirta Empul Temple. Watching devotees engage in holy dip was a humbling experience, reminding us of the spiritual richness of Bali.

As the day wound down, exhaustion mingled with exhilaration as we savored a hearty dinner back at our hotel. With memories of the day’s adventures swirling in our minds, we fell into a deep, contented sleep, eagerly anticipating what tomorrow’s Bali escapades would bring.
